Inaugural Web Newsletter

Greetings Alpha Phis!

Welcome to the inaugural newsletter of the Albany Alpha Phi Alumnae chapter. The alumnae chapter is a great way to reconnect with Alpha Phi and make new friends. We have a variety of events planned for the fall and hope you will be able to join us. If you have any event ideas, please contact Alison Begor or Amy Wong – we love new ideas! Also, if you have any input for future newsletters articles, please forward them to Amy Wong.

We hope you enjoy the newsletter and look forwarding to seeing you at a future event!

Loyally,

Alison

Meet Your Executive Board

Alison Begor - President

Alison is a graduate of the Beta Alpha Chapter at the University of Illinois. Having relocated to the Albany area in 2001, Alison loves her new home and her Alpha Phi sisters helped ease the transition. Currently, Alison is also serving as the Regional Manager for the Northeast Regional Team which she previously served as the Operations and Programming Coordinator. What keeps her busy however is her son, Aidan who just turned 6 months old in July. Future Alpha Phis – watch out!

Amy Wong – Vice President, Programming

Amy is from the Theta Tau Chapter at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Amy is a native New Yorker who has returned to the area and has been living in the Albany area since 2003. Upon returning to the area, her Alpha Phi sisters welcomed her back which made it feel like returning to her second home. At the moment, Amy is working on her architectural license, and basically having as much fun as she can kayaking, spending time with her friends, traveling and skiing.

Welcome!

Hi Ladies!

I just wanted to create this blog so it's more informal to post all the news and events for our chapter. Also, people don't necessarily have to really sign up for anything to also read the things going on with our alumnae chapter. I hope this makes everything easier for everyone and I look forward to seeing you all!

-Amy
